Here's what is rumored about iPhone 14:
The iPhone 14 models are expected to look like the same flat-edged design as the iPhone 13. It is claimed that Apple would introduce a thicker body without the rear camera and round volume buttons. Wrapping up all the design rumors, looks very similar to its predecessor, with the iPhone 14 Pro model keeping the flat edge design but with some cutouts; drop the display notch into One round for the front-facing camera and one round for the Face ID sensor. This means that Touch ID support is not planned for any iPhone 14 model. Apple made it possible for Face ID to recognize legitimate users. This will work very well. So, Apple may have sidestepped the need for fingerprint-centric biometrics.
The iPhone 14 might come in Midnight, Starlight and Product Red color options as usual, with rumors suggesting that the current blue will be swapped out for a brighter sky blue., Gold Pro, and this year's new option come in dark purple.
There are rumors of an improved ultra-wide-angle camera, and Apple could introduce a "periscope" zoom lens that allows for greater optical zoom. Pro iPhone models are expected to feature a 48-megapixel camera and 8K video recording capabilities, but these features are not available on the standard iPhone 14 model.
The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are expected to see significant camera improvements, with Apple unveiling a 48-megapixel wide camera from Sony with focus pixels and pixel binning, to replace the current 12-megapixel wide camera used in the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max.
All iPhone 14 models released this year are expected to feature an improved front camera with a larger f/1.9 aperture and autofocus capabilities. The wider the aperture, the lighter passes through the lens. It reaches the sensor, resulting in sharper, clearer photos and improved depth of field.
With the iPhone 13 Pro model, Apple introduced an improved 6-element ultra-wide-angle lens with an improved ƒ/1.8 aperture. These improvements will be applied to standard iPhone 14 models.
The iPhone 14 range is expected to include the standard iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro with 6.1-inch displays and could include the iPhone 14 Max/Plus and iPhone 14 Pro Max with 6.7-inch displays. No more 5.4-inch minis. Rumor has it that the new bezels could make the Pro models slightly larger (6.12 and 6.69 inches)
Early iPhone 14 rumors suggested that all four of his iPhone 14 models could offer his ProMotion displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz. While code in the iOS 16 beta seemingly confirms an always-on display feature, the standard iPhone 14 is expected to stick with simple lift-to-wake option rather than an always-on display. Instead, the iPhone 14 Pro with its adaptive refresh rate will likely support any always-on display feature.
The iPhone 14 is expected to stick with his A15 Bionic chip, while the iPhone 14 Pro mode is expected to get his new A16 chip. So far, there are rumors that all four iPhone 14 models will come with 6GB of RAM, but the base model will use LPDDR4X RAM like the current iPhone 13 lineup, while the Pro model will be faster and more efficient. It reportedly uses high-performance LPDDR5 RAM.
On the storage side, we'd expect Apple to continue with the options it has for the iPhone 13 range, which start at 128GB and go up to 1TB for the Pro models. According to claims, Apple could also launch eSIM-only variant of the iPhone 14.
iPhone 14 could have a 5G modem made by Apple. This will likely give Apple more control over 5G performance and battery life performance. While we're talking about connectivity, the iPhone gains the ability to connect to satellite networks, allowing users to text messages to emergency services when cellular networks aren't available.
According to the latest rumors, almost all iPhone 14 models will have larger batteries. These include iPhone 14, 14 Max, and iPhone 14 Pro. The iPhone 14 Pro Max, on the other hand, is said to have a smaller battery than the iPhone 13 Pro Max. New batteries may have an impact on overall battery life.
Apple has an event scheduled for September 7th, called “Far Out”, which might mean for the iPhone 14. It is expected iPhone 14 devices to go on sale on September 16, so that would be the official iPhone 14 release date. Additionally, iPhone pre-orders at WIBI might be set to begin on September 9th, just days after the Apple event. However, as iPhone 14 price is unannounced it’s expected to be starting from 240 – 280 KWD
